Accessibility statement

Our commitment

The VFORCE club believes in providing an equal service to everyone, and works to make its website usable by people with disabilities as far as possible.

Legal basis

Accessibility work here follows the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Regulation 35 of those regulations covers internet services and refers to the Israeli standard IS 5568, at conformance level AA.

Accessibility status

The site is partially conformant with the standard. The adjustments listed below were made and checked by us, in a self-assessment. The site has not undergone an external accessibility audit by a certified accessibility consultant, and we do not claim full conformance.

To be explicit: no body in Israel is authorized to issue a website accessibility certificate or standard mark, and we are not claiming one.

What has been done

Semantic structure on every page — header, navigation, main content and footer regions, with a correct heading hierarchy.
A “skip to content” link as the first element in the keyboard tab order.
Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
Contrast ratios that were measured rather than estimated: at least 4.5:1 for body text, at least 3:1 for large text.
Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels on buttons and links.
Alternative text on content images; decorative icons hidden from screen readers.
In the contact form: a label on every field, required fields marked, and error messages placed next to the field and programmatically linked to it.
Separate Hebrew and English pages with correct language and text-direction markup.
The operating system’s reduced-motion preference is respected — the moving effects on the site stop.
The site reads and works with JavaScript disabled.

Known limitations

This is a real list from the checks we ran, not generic filler:

The site has not been tested with actual screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver). What was checked is the code, the structure and the contrast.
No external accessibility audit has been carried out by a certified consultant.
Some of the club photos on the site are currently low-resolution working copies. They will be replaced with originals, and the alternative text may be updated with them.
The terms page does not yet include the full text of the club regulations.
Content on external sites we link to — the Google profile, Instagram, Facebook, Waze and WhatsApp — is outside our control, and its accessibility is the responsibility of those operators.
The Google map embedded on the contact page is third-party content whose accessibility we do not control. For that reason the address and the directions also appear as plain text beside it, so you can get the full information without using the map.

The accessibility widget

A UserWay (UserWay Inc.) accessibility widget runs on every page of the site, opened from a floating button. It offers presentation adjustments — among them larger text, contrast changes, spacing, link highlighting and pausing animations.

To be frank: the widget is an aid at the presentation layer only. It is not required by the regulations, and it is not the basis of the site’s conformance — the measures listed above are implemented in the pages’ own code, and the site is fully usable without it. If the widget interferes with assistive technology you already use, you can close it — and we would very much like to hear about it.

The widget is a third-party component; what information it receives and stores is detailed in the privacy policy.

Besides the widget and the map, a Cloudflare Web Analytics measurement script loads on every page of the site. It has no interface and no visual presence, it does not affect the site’s operation or its accessibility, and the site works in full when it is blocked. What information it receives is detailed in the privacy policy.

Accessibility coordinator

The club has not appointed an accessibility coordinator. Accessibility inquiries are handled directly by club management, using the details below.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Run into a problem, a page that does not work properly, or content you cannot reach? We would like to know — that is the single most useful thing for getting it fixed.

Updating this statement

This statement was updated on 9 August 2026. It will be updated on any material change to the site and following further accessibility testing.
