The program
What the day covers
The workshop combines theory and practice — and most of it is practical, on the bar. You get tools and you learn to apply them during the workshop itself.
- You get tools and learn to apply them in practice, in the room.
- We take the lifts apart and rebuild them from scratch, step by step up to the full version.
- You learn to work with different implements — dumbbells, kettlebells and the barbell.
- You learn to make the movement efficient: working the right joints and taking load off the ones that should not be working.
- You learn to spot and fix the common errors.
- You learn to use bracing properly — to protect the body and to add weight to the bar.
- We build a clear shared vocabulary — the right explanation and approach for each lift.
- You understand why strength training is the base of all training and what it gives you.
- Practising the three lifts: squat, bench press, deadlift.
- Practising intra-abdominal pressure (bracing).

Who the workshop is for
The workshop is built for lifters and coaches alike, and the content adapts to who’s in the room. Coaches also get the explanation-and-approach side — how to teach the lift, not just how to perform it.
Every new member of the club goes through the fundamentals workshop before joining group training. It’s what builds the base, the breathing and the shared language, and it’s what makes your first session make sense.
