About

The club, and how it came about

The day I founded VFORCE I had one goal — to get as many people as possible to fall in love with strength, the smart way, the healthy way, the precise way.

The method

Why train our way?

The most common mistake I see

People who arrive from an ordinary gym and think they’ve been doing strength training. They’re usually told they’re working on “strength”, but in practice they work in partial ranges of motion, at a high heart rate, in circuit-style stations that don’t really have much to do with strength training. Many coaches on the market are selling the wrong product — and usually it’s not their fault, because that’s what they were taught.

What’s different here: movement first, through full ranges; only after that do we start thinking about adding weight and chasing numbers.

What the first month feels like

After about a month, largely thanks to the fundamentals workshop, a lifter starts building a shared language with us. They’re comfortable because they can tell the tools apart — barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, rack, collars — and know exactly how to work with them. That knowledge gives a lot of confidence.

Who the club is not for

The club is not for people looking to tick the box on a workout and go home. It’s only for people who genuinely want to understand what they’re doing — and how much it’s improving their health beyond looks and raw strength — and who come in with an open mind, ready to learn.

About the club

If you’re looking for a club that’s far more than just training and ticking a box, this is exactly the place for you. We’ll take you several steps forward, to an entirely different level, and change how you think about strength training.

You’re personally supported the whole way, and every small detail and technique is matched one hundred percent to your level — re-tuned every single session. Strength training in small groups of up to 8 lifters, but the attention is entirely personal.

This is not a place to sweat and tick a box — you come here to progress, get stronger, learn and understand the logic behind the training. The club is equipped with gear from the world’s leading manufacturers and suits lifters at every level.

The groups

Why small groups?

Capped at 8 lifters per group.

It keeps the intimate, safe character that lets every single lifter get individual attention, so nobody feels “invisible” or misses the adjustments they need.

Ilan

How I got into strength

Strength training was an inseparable part of the martial arts training I started very young — around age 5 or 6. Building base strength was always top of the coaches’ priorities: at the end of every session they had us do an additional strength block, and gave us “homework” to practice daily so we’d improve from session to session.

Why I opened a club

Even before I took the coaching course, I decided that the moment I got the certificate I would open a place of my own. I could not find clubs or gyms that gave real value for the money — there was always a shortage of equipment, low-grade and heavily worn gear, and an unprofessional atmosphere everywhere I tried to train.

Experience and certifications

  • Around 4 years coaching, around 12 years in the strength world, and more than 350 lifters who have trained under me.
  • Gym instructor course — Campus Siim, 2022.
  • SFG 1 — StrongFirst, 2024.
  • SFL — StrongFirst, 2025.

Sporting background: boxing as a child, with inter-club and national competitions; three years of calisthenics and gymnastics; CrossFit and strongman, with in-house competitions; and Olympic weightlifting with the ASA Tel Aviv squad — not as a competitor, but to train under a federation and certified coaches.

Patience is the secret to every success.

Sporting background

I started training at age 12 and went through a whole range of sports — timed runs and sprints, calisthenics, bodybuilding and ninja — until I discovered the strength world, powerlifting in particular, and fell in love.

A bit about me

As a kid I was frozen out by the other children, and grew up small and physically weak. I started training to overcome that — to get big and strong, and to put a stop to it. At 14 I decided I wanted to become a coach and help other kids like me avoid going through what I went through. I started studying and investing my time and money in becoming the best I can be. Today, almost a decade later, I’ve brought my lifters to results they never dreamed of, and proved to myself and to them that this is the right path to success.
